Magnolia Destiny Unblonde

So I came across this beer on the side bar of the San Francisco forum.  I think it’s a great name, that probably few know the origins of.  While I didn’t confirm it with the brewpub, I did check their site and can tell that they are into the “jamband” scene, and being located on [...]

Top 10 New Beers of 2009

Well the year isn’t over yet, but I have decided to post my top 10 now.  For one, I don’t believe I will be drinking many other great beers the remainder of the year, and for two, I’m stuck inside because of the show storm hitting the east coast.  And, two of these beers were [...]

Dogfish Head Shittelload of Sixtels

So rather than always posting last minute about events that I am looking to hit, I figure that I will post this one with some lead time. The Grey Lodge will be hosting Sam and Dogfish Head on Dec. 16, 2009. Palo Santo Marron, Black and Blue, Midas Touch, Pangaea, Burton Burton, plus [...]

Celebrate Oktoberfest at Earth

This Thursday, 9/17, Earth, Bread, and Brewery will be celebrating Oktoberfest by tapping a bunch of Doppelbocks.  Yeah, traditionally people would tap Oktoberfests, but I personally prefer Doppels.  Their new doppelbock will also be debuted.  If I could make it, I would be there.

First Post

So I am going to try my hand at a beer blog.  There are a ton of these out there, with a lot of information.  Some of this information I tend to glaze over, so the purpose of this one will be to highlight the information which I think is the best, or the best [...]
